The success of luxury designers creating diffused lines for Target such as, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Zac Posen, Missioni, and next week’s anticipated debut Jason Wu for Target, has lead to an even brighter design concept- The Shops at Target. Opening this May 6th in all Target stores, will be 5 new specialty shops and boutiques to have their very own space- or “pop-up shop” inside Target stores for a run of about 6 weeks. This will be an on-going collaboration with a new round of specialty shops coming every few months. Each store will have their own custom branded display to showcase their products. This collaboration is huge for the boutique owners, who have seen the great success from previous designer collaborations with Target.
