Haute Tee-Shirts

Raquel Allegra’s fresh take on downtown dressing is showcased in high-end departments stores among downtown style mavens, Alexander Wang, Helmut Lang, and Etro. Born from a DIY attitude, the brand Raquel Allegra started when the designer of the same name, started creating customized shirts out of recycled Los Angeles County Jail tees. Originally made from cotton, jersey, and rayon, the collection now features more luxe fabrics like silk, satin, and leather. Her distressed designs are edgy, urban, and the epitome of feminine cool. Every piece is draped and deconstructed in a way that gives real meaning to what some call, “T-shirt couture.”
