Anastassia and I met in Southern California in 2001. We immediately hit it off and began to share their experiences and visions. We became actively involved in the fashion and art scenes. We have built strong relationships with stylists, designers, artists and editors. We have combined experiences in public relations and entertainment management, production of fashion shows and national advertising campaigns. We have collaborated on projects as stylists, buyers and editors.
We also shared the love of shopping, but found the “shopping experience” lacking. Frustrated with the typical sample sale drama of cold warehouses, ruthless shoppers and random merchandise we have set out to develop an alternative. In the summer of 2010 the stars aligned and the Project Lena was born. As strong believers in giving back, we decided to involve charitable organizations and create a series of events incorporating shopping, emerging local artists, charity and networking. With the launch of Project Lena sample sales are now thought of as luxurious boutique events with elements of art and giving back. The birth of the Project Lena Magazine was inevitable. As a team we have much to share about the worlds of fashion, art, expression and beauty. You will read about what is current, what is new and what is here to stay.
